Limp Mode
Your vehicle drops into limp mode and will not rev out. A failing turbo, a boost leak or a stuck actuator are among the most common causes, and all are repairable.

Underpowered Engine
An underpowered engine that feels flat under load, struggles on hills or has lost its pulling power usually points to a turbo no longer making full boost.

Low or No Boost
Boost pressure that reads low, fluctuates or disappears under load. We test the turbo on our Viscom flowbench so you get a measured answer, not a guess.

Whistling or Siren Noise
A rising whistle or siren from the turbo normally means worn bearings or a damaged compressor wheel. Caught early, a rebuild costs far less than a replacement.

Blue or Black Smoke
Blue smoke means oil is passing worn turbo seals. Black smoke points to a fuelling or boost fault. Either way it is worth checking before the damage spreads.

Oil Leaks & Oil Loss
Oil in the intercooler or intake piping, or oil consumption you cannot account for, is a classic sign that the turbocharger seals have failed.
